Kat Williams, known creatively as aristokatic, is a fast-learning, quick thinking, versatile creator based in Chicago, IL. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in May 2022, majoring in Media & Cinema Studies (MACS), minoring in Critical Film Production and Creative Writing, and acquiring a certificate in International Development Studies. She curated her diverse plan of study to combine her favorite things: film and culture analysis, media production, and deepening her awareness of the world around her.

As a freshman at UIUC, Kat started doing freelance content creation as well as securing a Spring/Summer film development and production internship with Dreamscape Cinema in Urbana. In her junior year, Kat started Focus Pull, a campus organization aimed at providing knowledge, equipment, and on set opportunities to Black UIUC students interested in media production and the entertainment industry. As a senior, she began working as a wedding videographer, sharpening her camera and quick thinking skills.
Now graduated and living in Chicago, Kat is working as a freelance filmmaker and photographer.
